Official Website
Cost: $5.00

Support my friends Dylan and Steph who have been getting a Jersey City Indie Film Circuit off the ground.  Join them on Myrtle Ave in Brooklyn for the fifth in a series of curated film experiences.  This one is a special night because the film director John Bradburn is a huge influence in DIY film-gigging and inspired the organizers to do what they do in the first place.  Let’s keep it up and get them a good following!

This film will be “Wrists”
director: John Bradburn

Wrists follows Julie as she recovers in an isolated rural cottage. Bored she wanders the countryside and tries to waste time. Hearing a noise outside she rescues a mysterious young man – Clark – from a motorcycle accident.

Slowly she becomes obsessed with him and is drawn in to his dark world. He works in a city collecting debts. Clark has never really thought of escape. In meeting Julie he way have met his saviour.

This will be a special screening because the filmmaker John Bradburn was the author of the article that inspired us to create a film series that was akin to DIY punk shows and touring.

Read the article here on Ted Hope’s Truly Free Film blog:

We’ll open doors at 7:30 and probably start around 8:00-8:30 or as people file in.

There will be a 5 dollar suggested donation as well as cheap beer.

Although John is in the UK, we will be having him Skype in to answer questions and talk to attendees. Come mingle, meet some great people, watch some really great films and most of all have a fun time.

If you would like to submit work to be screened, like to use our space for test screenings or other events please feel free to contact us at

We look forward to seeing you at our event and hearing what you thought as well!
